Create a training plan template
Members' training plans are often similar. With templates you create a plan once and use it as the starting point for many members, then adjust it to individual needs.
Open Training world / Training plans / Training plan templates and click Create training plan template.
Enter the template details: Title, Description, Picture, Training goal, Training level, Trainer and Duration. If your studio works with several facilities, use Edit sharing settings to choose the facilities in which the template is available. A language selector is shown only if several content languages are enabled for your studio; then you can enter the title and description per language. Click Save to open the training plan builder.
Build the units and exercises as for an individual training plan. Individual values such as the training weight are not specified in templates, so these fields are greyed out. Enter them later when you use the template for a member.
When the template is complete, click Publish. As for individual training plans, every unit needs at least one exercise and at least one weekday before you can publish. To continue later, click Save draft.
You can also save an existing member plan as a template: in the training plan builder of the member's plan, open the three-dot menu in the plan details bar and select Save as training plan template draft.
Search training plan templates
Above the list you can search by Name and filter by Training goal, Training level, Duration, Units per week and Status. Select Show inactive to include deactivated templates. Click a template to open its overview page with all details, units, exercises and parameters.
Use a template for a member
Open Members / [member name] / Training / Training plans and click Select template.
- In the first step, choose the template from the Title drop-down. Only published templates are listed. You see its units and exercises. Click Next.
- In the second step, check the training goal, the trainer and the duration of the member's plan.
- The plan opens as a draft in the training plan builder. Enter the individual values such as the training weight and make further changes if needed.
- Click Publish to assign the plan to the member. It is then shown in the member profile and in the app.
Templates can also be the starting point for a catalog plan: under Training world / Training plans / Training plan catalog, click Select template.
Edit a training plan template
The three-dot menu of a template (in the list or on its overview page) offers:
- Edit training details: title, description, picture, training goal, training level, trainer and duration.
- Edit training plan: units, exercises and parameters in the builder. Confirm changes with Publish. If an unpublished change exists, this entry reads Continue editing.
Deactivate, activate or delete a template
- Deactivate training plan template: the template no longer appears in Select template and is only listed with Show inactive.
- Activate training plan template: makes a deactivated template usable again.
- Delete template: removes the template. You can no longer use it afterwards.
For a draft, the menu offers Delete draft instead.
