Assigning a membership card to a member
Once you have installed your card reader, you will be able to assign your membership cards to your members.
To do this, go to your customer's file. In the overview, click on Add a new access card via the blue button in the first tile, or via the 3-dot menu.
A window opens, and under Type, keep Member card.
Then click in the empty field under Card number and swipe the access card. The card number will automatically appear in the field.
Finally, click on Save.
Re-assigning a second card to a customer
Your customer might have lost his card, and you need to assign them another one temporarily.
In this case, proceed again as described in the first part of this article, under “How to assign a membership card to a member?“.
Please note that it is possible to set up a replacement card system.
Assigning a friend card to a member
You can give your customer an access card for a friend. This card allows them to bring a friend to train in your gym. Learn more about the configuration of the “Invite a friend” function.
To do this, go to your client's file. From the overview, click again on Add a new access card via the blue button in the first square, or via the 3-dot menu.
Under Type, choose Member Card.
Then click in the empty field under Card number and swipe the access card. The card number will automatically appear in the field.
Both cards will appear on the member's page. When clicking the three-dot-menu behind the card number, you can edit and delete the access card.
Special cases
Only special characters appear
Check that the Shift key on your keyboard is not engaged. If so, deactivate it.
Nothing reacts
Check that your card reader is working:
- Is it switched on?
- Is there an indicator light?
- Does it emit a sound when the card is swiped?
