Contents
Quick Guide
- Check-in / Three-dot menu / Open door
- Click the device in the list that controls the door. The command is sent immediately.
Prerequisites
You can open doors manually in the software. This is only possible if
- an active Device Manager is running, and
- a device is set up in the Device Manager that supports the open-door command.
You can see the devices that are set up under Settings / Access control / Device Manager.
Open door
Switch to the Check-in area and click the three-dot menu in the upper right corner. Select Open door. This menu item only appears when at least one device that supports opening a door is set up.
The Device action dialog opens with the action already set to Open door. Click the device in the list that controls the door you want to open. The click sends the open-door command to the device at once: there is no confirmation step and no further button to click. A message then confirms that the command was sent to the device.
By default, the list only shows devices that are online (checkbox Only show devices that are online). Clear the checkbox to see all devices, or click Reload to refresh the list. If no suitable device is available, the dialog shows No active devices could be found for this action.
Click Close to leave the dialog.
