What is the new Home Studio feature?
With the “Add Home Studio” feature, you can choose which studio is shown in your Branded App – completely independently of your contract studio. This is especially helpful if you're a member of a large fitness provider and use multiple studios, and want to stay informed about classes, news, or opening hours of other locations.
Important: This feature has no impact on your contract studio and does not change anything in your membership agreement. It’s only meant to let you view content from another studio in the app.
Requirements for use
The feature is only available to customers with an activated Branded Member Platform and their members.
If you’re unsure whether you’re using the branded version, check your Selfservice or contact Magicline Support.
How to add a Home Studio
1. Open your profile in the Branded App.
2. In the “Contract Studio” section, tap the info icon – here you'll find information about the difference between contract and home studio.
3. Tap “Add Home Studio” to access the list of all available studios.
4. Your current studio is already preselected.
5. Choose your desired Home Studio (single selection).
6. Confirm your selection. You’ll see a message explaining how this will affect various areas of the app.
7. After confirmation, the new Home Studio will be saved and displayed on your profile page.
How the Home Studio affects the app
After the selection, all relevant app content will be adjusted to the new Home Studio:
Studio tab:
– Occupancy display
– Studio address
– Opening hours
– Studio news
Classes tab:
– Class schedule with the Home Studio’s sessions
– “Upcoming classes” display
– Filter is automatically set to the new studio
Appointments tab:
– Appointment-based offers
– Filter is automatically set to the new studio
Home navigation:
– Book a class
– Book an appointment
– News
– Occupancy
This gives you quick access to the most important info, classes, and offers from the studio that currently matters most to you.
Change or reset your Home Studio
You can change the Home Studio at any time via your profile:
1. Tap on your current Home Studio in the profile.
2. The studio selection list will open again.
3. Select a new studio or tap “Reset”.
4. A pop-up will appear to confirm the reset.
5. After confirmation, the Home Studio will be removed and all content will once again be based on your contract studio.
This feature provides maximum flexibility without modifying any contract data. That way, you always have the most relevant content in view – no matter which studio you train at.
