How do I create a member?
Where would your studio be without members? Even. That's why we've made it as easy as possible to create new members. The process is divided into the areas described below.
Go to Members and click on Create Member in the upper-right corner.
Duplicate Search
Sometimes it happens that a customer has been a member before and after some time finds its way back into your studio. Of course, you don't have to create the member again, because the data is saved under former members. Just search for the member's name. If it is already stored in the Magicline, it will be listed in the list of search results. Just click the Reactivate link and the former member will lose the status Former .
Tip: Even if the member you want to create is completely new, you can already enter the name in this step. The data will then be carried over and not lost when you click Next below.
Personal data
Here you enter the personal data of your member, i.e. the name, the Date of birth, etc. You can also assign a card number.
Contact details
The address, email address and telephone number here.
Photo & Codes
The choice is yours! Ask the member to smile nicely and take a photo or choose a photo from your gallery. You can also assign codes to the member.
Contract data
First you enter the payment method that your member has chosen. Usually it will be direct debit . The next step is the rate, the term and the method of payment (e.g. monthly). A preview is now displayed, with which you can show the respective member when which debit will take place and in what amount - over the entire contract period.
The billing details, on which the preview is based, are displayed in a second tab. For example, you'll see the default due date, contribution, and notice period.
Bank details
Enter the account holder and the IBAN here. If the IBAN is valid, the BIC and bank will be filled in automatically. Alternatively, you have the option of entering the account number and bank code in the classic way. To do this, select the button bank code / account no. type .
In order to generate the SEPA mandate reference number, you now have to click the button request SEPA mandate . If you upload a SEPA document, you will find it again after the member in the Documents area.
For cash payment or bank transfer the bank details area is omitted, of course.
Summary
All entered data is listed here again. Before you finally create the member including the contract, you can go through the information again with the member and check it is correct.
The member was created successfully! Immediately after saving, you will be shown a detailed view of the member. In addition, the contract was stored in the Documents area. From there you can save it to your computer in case you want to print it or email it to your client.
Tip: There's even a special advantage on the iPhone or iPad. You can have your member digitally sign both the contract and the SEPA mandate.
Prospects
prospects works on the same principle, only of course, much less data is entered.
Editing member data
If you want to edit the Master data or any of the data added within the different widgets, the three dot menu will give you the options. So just click on the three dots to enter the edit mode.
