What are the member statuses?
Your members can have three different statuses
-
Member - i.e. they have an active membership contract
-
Prospect - i.e. they have and had no membership contract
-
Former member - i.e. they had an active membership contract
How to change the status of a member
There are several ways to change the status. For example, select the button Create member in the upper right corner of the member list and enter a name. The status (Prospect, member or former member) will appear next to the name in the list of results.

Next to the status Prospect you will find the link Make a member.

And next to the status Former member you will find the link Reactivate.
Both options will guide you through the process of making your customer a member (with an active contract).
Another way is to go to the member details. In the tile Active contracts you can change the status of your member. By adding a new contract you make both a prospect and a former member.
NOTE: It can sometimes take a while for the status to change on the member, please be patient.
