Overview of the events
Four events are now available for additional modules. The external booking confirmation already existed; the other three are new and extend automatic notifications to the full booking and cancellation lifecycle.
| Event | Trigger | Shipping method |
|---|---|---|
| External additional module booking confirmation | A member books an additional module via the website, Connect, or the Open API (existing). | Automatic dispatch without confirmation |
| Internal additional module booking | Studio staff book an additional module through an internal path (member profile, POS/cash register, bulk editing). | Automatic dispatch without confirmation |
| Internal additional module cancellation | Studio staff cancel an additional module in the member profile. | Automatic dispatch without confirmation |
| External additional module cancellation | A cancellation of an additional module arrives via the website, Connect, or the Open API. | Automatic dispatch without confirmation |
Email is currently the communication channel for the new events.
Template for the cancellation confirmation
Menu path: Communication / Administration / Templates
For the two cancellation events, the provided template Additional module cancellation is available in German and English. You can adopt it as a starting point and adapt it to your studio.
- Open Communication / Administration / Templates and create a new template via Create email template. Use the subject and content of the provided template Additional module cancellation as your starting point.
- Adjust the subject and content for your studio. You can use the template for both the internal and the external cancellation.
- Save the template.
No new template is required for the internal or external additional module booking. You can use your existing template for the external additional module booking confirmation, or create your own template following the same pattern.
New placeholders in the Additional module category
For the cancellation events, two new placeholders are available in the Additional module placeholder category:
| Placeholder | Meaning |
|---|---|
| #ModuleCancellationReceiptDate | Date the additional module cancellation was received by the system. |
| #ModuleCancellationDate | Date the additional module cancellation takes effect. |
Insert the placeholders from the picker in the template as usual. For details on placeholder mechanics, see the linked article in Related articles.
