What is the Accounting Rule Configuration?
The new accounting rule configuration allows you to manage posting accounts and rules centrally and apply them across multiple studios within a tenant. The goal is to make changes more transparent and tracking easier.
This feature replaces the previous manual copy process and provides an automated and traceable solution.
What features does the configuration offer?
- Create a new configuration: Choose between SKR03 and SKR04 or base it on an existing configuration.
- Cross-facility activation: Share accounting rules and accounts across multiple studios.
- Account and rule management: Define individual posting accounts and related rules.
- Copy function: Transfer account structures and rules from an existing setup.
- Editability: Once activated, a configuration can no longer be edited.
How does activation work?
- Configuration planning: Create and set an activation date.
- Preview: Review the planned configuration before activation.
- One-time activation: Only one configuration can be active per studio at a time.
What does the change log show?
The change log documents all modifications and ensures full transparency:
- Date and time of the change
- User name who made the change
