Creating a Bulk Edit for Payment Run Groups
To change payment run groups for members, you can use the bulk edit feature:
- Create the bulk edit based on a filter list you’ve created or an Excel document.
- Select the locations of the members you want to edit.
- This filter list serves as the basis for the members whose payment run groups you would like to change.
Edit Mode Members
Select Members if you aim to change the payment run group of your members:
- Example: Change the payment run group of your members to a specific option like “1st of the Month”.
Edit Mode Change
Select Change if you want to update an existing payment run group to another one:
- Example: Change the payment run group “1st of the Month” to “All”.
Afterward:
- An overview shows you the settings of the bulk edit.
- A preview displays the members whose payment run groups will be changed.
- The header provides information about the edit mode used and the change from a source payment run group to a target payment run group.
- The changes can either be confirmed or discarded if the details are incorrect.
Background on Removing Contract Mode
The functionality to change payment run groups based on contracts was removed because it would have overwritten all contracts for a customer in the bulk edit. This poses a high risk of errors, especially during mass changes.
It is more sensible to set payment run groups directly at the member level, as this is less error-prone and yields similar results. If you want to make targeted changes to payment run groups, the Change option is still available.
