The debt collection transfer for a member allows you to transfer the claims of a member to your debt collection partner, even if the member has not gone through the dunning process. The transfer can be made from any dunning level. During the transfer, the member's current outstanding claims are transferred.
Here is how
Go to the relevant member and open the three-dot menu at the top right of the Account Balance tile. Select the option Transfer to Debt Collection.
In the next step, you can choose whether you want to set a dunning fee.
This is of course only possible if the member has outstanding claims. After this, the member will be in Dunning Level 4 (this corresponds to the debt collection level) and will have received an access block. All claims are set to zero.
As long as the member is in debt collection, you cannot change the dunning level.
Note: If you cancel the contract of a member as due, you can transfer all contract claims directly to debt collection in this process.
