What are App Messages for?
App Messages introduce a new communication channel. The app inbox is a solution where messages sent from the System studio appear in a dedicated inbox within the app.
This is an effective way to communicate with studio members, as messages are delivered directly to the app. It is easy to use, minimises additional costs, and reduces dependency on third-party communication platform providers.
We want to enable you to use this form of communication to reach members more directly. It opens the door to bidirectional communication, improved support, and a better customer experience.
At the same time, members benefit from having membership-related information directly integrated into the app (e.g. booking confirmations, important studio messages – all in one place).
And we are planning even more features for this functionality in the future.
Templates
As with all other types of messages, you can also create templates for App Messages. Go to Communication / Templates.
Single Message
A single message can be created easily in different ways.
One way is directly from the Communication Centre:
Another way is directly via the communication widget in the member's account.
Series Message
If you want to reach a specific group of members or even all members, you can create a series message based on a member list and a template. Both must be prepared in advance.
Go to Communication / Messages / Series Messages and click the blue button Create Series App Message
- A preview will be generated, allowing you to check who will receive the message and who won’t.
- If everything looks good, you must send the created series message by clicking the blue button on the right and selecting Send message.
Communication Matrix in the system
We have also included App Messages in the communication matrix, which is visible in the member's account (Privacy widget) and in your default studio communication settings.
